The range is designed as a practical and reliable replacement for both older Toshiba models and competitor industrial printers, and is available in 203 dpi and 300 dpi resolutions to support a broad mix of industrial labelling requirements.

Toshiba has drawn on more than 60 years of Auto-ID experience and ongoing customer feedback to develop the BX-series. The result is a refined industrial platform that improves performance, reduces energy consumption, and offers easier long-term serviceability while maintaining the durability Toshiba printers are known for.
The BX-series continues the strengths of the established B-EX and B-SX families, but introduces updated electronics, simplified mechanics, improved operator access, and lower overall running costs.
Low Energy
Every Toshiba 4″ industrial label printer includes Toshiba’s Green Technology ribbon-save feature, reducing unnecessary ribbon movement and helping lower consumable costs. Power usage is significantly reduced compared to earlier models, with the BX410 achieving lower standby consumption when compared against major competitor printers.
User-friendliness
The Toshiba BX410 incorporates a modern, service-friendly design. The snap-in print head and tool-less platen roller replacement allow key maintenance tasks to be carried out quickly, reducing downtime and minimising the need for technician support.
A clear LCD graphical display provides access to printer settings, status information and built-in help functions, supporting easier operation and reducing the time required for new users to become familiar with the unit.
Additional enhancements include automatic print head resolution detection, DHCP information displayed on the front panel, improved media handling, and automatic feed/back-feed to ensure consistent label positioning.
Durability
Durability continues to be a core focus of Toshiba’s industrial range. The BX-series includes a long-life print head rated at approximately 4 million inches (100 km), contributing to lower long-term maintenance costs in high-volume printing environments.

The Toshiba BX410 delivers real-world print speeds up to 12 inches per second, helping maintain throughput across busy distribution, manufacturing and logistics operations.
Connectivity options include Ethernet and USB 2.0 as standard, with additional serial, parallel and wireless LAN interfaces available. The BX410 is designed for use in demanding industrial environments, providing consistent performance with minimal maintenance requirements.
